I have never been to one and cannot, unless they're is one within a few hours of me, but what do they meet about over the course of five hours?

That's a long meeting.

Yeah it's a little long, but there is alot of things they cover
sometimes it's a pissing match most of the time it's a good time.
I have found a great many details and ideas from talking with other clubs
up close and in person.

They meet at 10 am get going by 10:30 role call and intros.
cover old buisness and motions
go over last meetings minutes and vote them in
15 min break
cover land and trail reports also trail maint.
Club funds and fund raisers
open the floor for open discussion
break for lunch 1/2 hour
anything else open fourm
New buisness
New clubs asking for membership
voting on them or setting up a run for them with a NEA club to observe them.
15 min break
Expenseces for the club for projects, trail maint. ect
Questions from clubs
closing remarks
end the meeting
most close early 2:00 to 2:30

Yes I am planning on attending this meeting
I have to get caught back up to the rest of the Clubs

I'm pretty sure I'm still open for that day, Ernie, so we could carpool.

The hosting club is holding a Toys 4 Tots event.
so they asked all attending clubs to bring a new unwrapped toy.
I spoke to Mike S. and this is what NEXTerra donated for the event.
a Toy Story 3 puzzle
2 lego type vehicles
2 teddy bears
3 barbie style dolls
3 4x4 windup trucks
a girls tea set
4 coloring books with crayons

I let my wife do the shopping, I think she did OK.
I know that some Kids will be Very Happy on X-mas :santa:
