Get in on the ground floor...codenamed Gremlin Graveyard...info on trailbuilding below. Visit the NEA4WD forum and volunteer for this great opportunity for legal wheeling in Southern New England!!

Date: 4/5
Tentative plans are as follows:
Do some signing, mostly arrows and respect land owner etc.
Potentially finishing GPS points for mapping.
Potentially cut one route up the steep hill.
All of this is subject to landowner approval.
Work force will be limited to ~10 people.
Most of it will probably be done on foot due to mud.

We will meet at 9 roll at 9:30. Meeting spot TBD.
I expect it will only take a few hours to get everything done.

Make sure to visit the NEW4WD forum and let the group leader know by a PM or a post...given that they are limiting the # of people on this property to start with, the available slots will likely fill up quick!!

Guys this is something Ernie and I are working on. So please consult us first before contacting anyone else.

They only want 10 people there for this.

They had talked about this place in the last NEA meeting and this could be a great place for us to run..

I'll keep everyone posted.. ;)

Ok here's the deal. An update so to speak.

What they are going to do is go and hang some signs and some mapping out some trails. It's all gonna be done on feet and should only take a couple of hours.

So with that said they are limiting the number of people who are going.

Now Ernie is one of those people who is going and that I personaly want there, cause he and I have been working on this since we first heard about it. And who's the second person? Do I go or should I step down and let someone else go? What do you guys think?

I can GPS map the area just by driving/walking it, and it can be exported to google earth, takes the effort out of it ;)
I may be up for going to help

PS: Is wherever the trucks are to be parked/left safe?

Regardless of who is going on this outing, GG opens for use on 5/1 I believe...We should think about scheduling a run there soon thereafter...

Since my truck isn't going to be ready for a run that I'd planned to go on, I could be available.
