I already announced that we'd be changing our name and was told that we could do it at any time - as long as it was done prior to the next time fees / dues were collected.

The officers all told me that it wasn't too big a deal to hurry up and do it - and since we hadn't updated all of our bylaws, charter and corporation status at the time, I didn't press the matter
