NEXTerra Summit & MaBell Run - 2018

When: Saturday, June 2nd, 2018

Meeting Time: 9.30 M. Leaving for the trails at 9.45 AM

Meeting Location: 880 Chesterfield Road, Westhampton MA
42°21'06.1"N 72°46'31.3"W

Wheeling Locations: Summit first in the morning & MaBell after.

Waivers: All attendees (drivers & passengers) must sign and hand in the NEXTerra waiver (open HERE). Please print it out, sign it, and bring it with you the day of the event

Trail Details:
We will be wheeling on private property that we have access to through the North East Association of 4Wheel Drive Clubs (NEA). Unless you are with NEXTerra you will be trespassing, therefore all attendees must be registered members of NEXTerra and be signed up to attend.

Please ensure you meet minimum requirements if planning on running the hard trails. Due to the high likelihood of damage without them, you are required to meet the minimum mandatory requirements.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Summit
The Summit property will be run first. The location has both a stock & hard trails. The stock side has hard green/easy blue type trails suitable for stock trucks equipped with full skid plates & sliders. Hard trails for modified rigs only & contain large rocks, tight trails, no by-passes. Damage possible.

Min. Requirements -
Stock trails - full skids, sliders mandatory. Lift & tires recommended.

Hard trails - min. 32's, full armor, front & rear tow points, lift, aggressive tires mandatory. Lockers/winch, aftermarket bumpers recommended. Expect your full skids/bumper to get a full workout.
-----------------------------------------------------------

MaBell
MaBell was moderate to hard in difficulty in past years. However, recently the trail has become more washed out, making it harder. The trail has multiple rock ledges all the way to the top, back down & is essentially a long climb up.

Min. Requirements - Sliders, 32's, front & rear recovery points, full skids. Lockers/winch would help. Expect skids/sliders to get a workout.

You will be required to air down. There are no services close by, stock up on gas & food well before you get to the meeting location. If your rig is stock or lightly modified, it's recommended that you ride along with a more modified rig for the hard trails. There's plenty of parking at the trail head.

Might actually make it this year. They moved one of the races we're usually at to June 9th so this is opened up.

You need to be part of Nexterra, bring a signed waiver & meet the run requirements to wheel at this event.

There’s no event fee.

The club charges an event fee only to cover land use fees that go to the property owners & other event related expenses when needed.

We have access to this property (and many others) thanks to the North East Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs (NEA). Your Supporting Membership dues help pay for our clubs’ involvement with the NEA.

6 rigs signed up for wheeling, all signed up for the blacks trails (with one signed up, me, for blue trails) .

If the rig/driver readiness information given at signup is correct, the whole group will be doing the harder trials.

There’s still room for you to sign up. You could still run the easier trails & then jump in with someone else for the hard stuff or call it a day after Summit.

I’d like to go as well. It depends on how much time I get to swap the diffand the suspension to the Titan stuff. I’ll know more by the end of Memorial Day weekend. I’ll sign up just in case.
