It appears the old man emu leaf packs cone with their bushings so who would everyone suggest rather then that so I can order it at once. At least I got another truck to drive as I had to cut the broken leaf out with the saws all it is not exactly inspiring confidence as the rear end bounces everywhere over bumps.

The stock bushings will fit the OME packs. Just buy a new set, it's like $20 for all 12.

So ernie, according to your pictures that guy followed us and watched us the whole time we were in RI? That is a bit creepy on his part. It is messed up as the entire time we were in RI from when he started accosting us through the entire time in the woods the guy seems a bit unbalanced to put so much effort into documenting something outside his town and state borders.

No need for apologies. I had a great time, even with the damage. I admit it took a little time to process since it was my first ever trail damage. I'm sure it isn't the last either.

I appreciate all of the effort to pull me off that rock and point me in the right direction.

Looking forward to Summit/Mabell.

We reused half of my stock metal bushings with my OMEs, and the other ends were the OME urethanes.

By the way I dont know what was up with the color balance on the one with Romeo's truck I must have had HDR turned on in the camera or something. I will have to look into that.

See you guys at the next one.

All of this broken leaf talk made me get under the truck to check mine out. Third leaf from the top is cracked on the passenger side. Can't really without being completely under the truck, or my head in the wheel well. I'll throw a pic up once I upload it.

Yeah I think mine was broken for a while. I was hearing some clanking before but thought maybe it was something loose like a heat shield but hadnt found it yet. I think unloading the spring fully must have allowed it to slide out of the leaf pack and made it noticeable to me. I think I am going with the 1.5" lift OME springs and probably get a new 1/2" lift shackle as I am running a 1.5" lift shackle now and 3" would increase the trucks rake considerably. I need new rear shocks anyways as those are also blown so I might as well do it all at once.

Sounds like it's a good time for everyone to take a close look at their leaf packs. Fix them before ECXC or have a replacement pack on hand.
