If I get done working before 3am, I might head up as well. Will text either you or Ernie if I'm coming.

So, just as everyone was airing down at the landing I messaged my wife to see how her day was going. She immediately called me back with the news. Our 2ish year old coonhound Wilson had run off into the woods at her parents place. My daughter had followed him into the woods to try and track him down. She had come out onto a street in another neighborhood and didn't know where she was.

I know two things:
1. There was nothing I could do to help at that moment. It's an hour and a half ride back.
2. If I didn't make the 'right' decision and leave immediately it would be something a wife would never forget.

As Murphy's Law predicts, I was roughly a half hour away from the landing and I got a call. Wilson and my daughter are home safe and I can continue with my day of fun. Realizing that I had missed the caravan into the woods I just continued home. No wheeling for me.

I hope everyone had a good afternoon at Brookhaven while I was maintaining my marriage.

Glad it all worked out
The Trails were sick....
Thank you for stepping up as well

Summary from my another thread.

Awesome first meeting of the year
a lot was covered
Huge turn out almost a record !!
we had John Murphy, Suresh, David R. and myself there.!!!
at the meeting John offered to join the committee

I did a short thing on GG
Late March /April is tenitive for the road repair a cutting some new trails and obsticials.
BnB Built not Bought , Club has offered a machine for the road !!
and another club offered a road grader for later in the year.

we ended meeting early and headed to the Brookridge property.
John had to leave, so David, Suresh and myself hit the trails.
David rode with me and Denny from under ground jeeps rode with Suresh.
we had 6 rigs total wheeling 5 jeeps and the 4runner
we ran only one trail and spotted several others branching out
for a total of 6 marked trails right now..
due to the snow and some rigs under equipped for this trail it was slow going.
the trail was said to be "easy" but was closer to the summit hard side or MaBell.
I suggest a limited to modified rigs run there to further access the property at a later date.
others may attend but would need to ride along.
Min. 32s and full armor with one locker or winch.
damage is a possibility...
multiple high rocks , off camber, very steep hills , stumps and tight trees.
