Was this run originally scheduled for the 20th? It seems like this Saturday snuck up on me awfully fast.

Confirmed attendees: tkx, jcapp44, msvgundam, Scott Farris, jac04, rcheliman, jeep-beast, Dirtysocks.

The weather & trails should be in good condition...bring your skid plates & plenty of bug spray.

Sent my contact details to all confirmed attendees just now...text/call me if you are running late or need help in the morning. If you have not confirmed via PM, I will not know to wait for you & will leave as soon as all the confirmed folks arrive.

Sent you a PM but in case you don't get it, Patchy said he sent you a PM back several days ago that he was confirming we would be there (we still plan to be).

See yall then!

It was great seeing old and new faces today. I hope everyone had fun. I know I did, at least until my truck went CRUNCH! (Insert broken truck emoji here)

Thanks to everyone who helped me out today. My half-shafts appear to be toast, not sure yet about the diff.

Hope everyone else made it through unscathed!

Don't forget to check for ticks...I found 2 on me.

David

Hey dave,
Glad you made it home alright. I'll keep my fingers crossed your diff survived. Let me know the outcome either way.

Sucks about the diff... hope it's not too bad. Keep us posted.

-----------------------
Run Summary:

We has a total of 10 rigs today for the run.... weather was great & we had a good time even though we hit a few bumps. Thanks for coming out today guys.

We had two groups at Summit, one breaking off to do the stock side & the other doing the harder, perimeter trail. Everyone had fun... pinstripes, scraped skid plates were pretty universal, with the harder group getting a good work out on the log bridge & the boulder gardens.

After Summit, some of the stock rigs (sensibly, I might add), ended the day after lunch. The rest of us made our way over to Mabell for the climb up the rocks & then back down. Mabell lived up to it's reputation with gnarly ledges & some sketchy offcamber/three wheeling moments... but everyone made it down in one piece.

Most everyone had some type of scrape/ding - Vinnie had a broken trackbar bracket after Summit & a non-working 4lo. You already head about Dave's axle shafts & diff, that happened on Mabell. Dave was able to patch the truck up & 2wd it down from about half way up Mabell.

Except for the carnage, it was an awesome day to be out wheeling & a great bunch of people to be out with.
