Hi all, I'm new here but this sounds like it'd be a fun first ride. Could my stock 4x handle it? I'm getting rear recovery points (from RockyMtnX on thenewx.org) but they probably won't arrive in time... will a big D-ring around rear leaf spring attachment be enough for this one? I'd drive up early saturday and stay for the day. |

You would need to be recovered and without the points to do so would be a bad thing really. How far away are you? This would be a great chance to meet and a good way to help the club. |

A rear tow bar would work with a d-ring attachment thing. I would really want to use the shackle as a tow point. I'd take Dave's advice on the NH ride & rake though. The help is welcome, a few of us will have empty seats you can hop in with. If you become a supporting member, we're having a supporting members only ride this Sat in MA. And yes, you can pay at the meeting spot. PM'ed you some more info as well. In additional, do plan on coming up for the ride & rake...just hop in with one of us who'll be there. |
