Club Event: NEXTerra Ride & Rake This is a NEXTerra Ride & Rake event on some fantastic private property. We have a great place to wheel and we need to clear up our trails. We will be wheeling these trails as we go but along the way we will need to do clearing. Large tree drops are not anticipated but there may be some fallen ones that we need to get cut and removed. There will be trail clean up of brush and sticks with logs possible. We will need to fill in some muddied trail areas with fallen materials. There will be mud. Note: This property has wildlife. Shooting of said wildlife is strictly forbidden at this event. There are places to stay overnight in the area and you are on your own for that. Camping is not available on the property at this time. We may need to cap the number of rigs on the trail at one time for this event depending on the interest. Stock rigs may be asked to park in the field and you may ride along depending on the situation. We will need to adapt to the conditions. There will be no rig cost for this event but you will be needed to help with the efforts. Please, consider supporting your club by checking this place out AND helping us out! Dave, You know I'm down for both days  I'll be up in Campton on Fri. visiting a friend. My Hotel rooms already booked Yes it is work!! But if you love wheeling it is a labor of love This is virgin land and has not been traveled in many years I love blazing new trails So, Come out and join us doing what we love. P.S. great meeting spot, Dave Niiice. We can finish the run to the top that you and I started! We need to run over the whole loop again a couple times, you know, to tamp it down... LOL Also, I have ideas about some brush trail action at the top that Joe and I talked about. Also, we can do some work on the east hills... you ran one last time -ya nut. Not enough time, just not enough time... (Or manpower as yet) No matter, we will just make lemonade! Thanks for the reply though I knew you were down for it.

Event Update: There will be a cookout at my place (10 mins away) that Saturday evening. It's the least I can do for the few club volunteers coming up and making things better for all of us. I salute you. |
