Is there a lot of snow on the ground down there?

Joe (Zaedock) had posted a few days ago that snow was 8+" and more in the woods. There was supposed to be a club going there last weekend, so the snow is probably packed down. Or we'll be playing snow plow out there on Sat :-)

8" is not bad.
While I cannot commit at this time, I'd like to do this. I hope to see you at the appointed time. If I'm not able to make it I'll post here. (If that is okay)

Oh yeah! Snow plow. Maybe I can get hung up on a tree trunk buried in the snow... again.

Hope to see you there!
:D

Sturbridge weather says 37deg for tomorrow, with rain/snow for the afternoon..... sound about perfect for wheeling.

Have to replace two skid plate bolts & look at some weird rattle tonight... other than that all set for tomorrow. See you guys in the morning!

Thanks David for putting the run together & everyone who attended... had a blast. Here's a quick summary.

David (rcheliman) & his crew, Dave (Fiachra), Tony (gtang) & I met up this morning at the Cracker Barrel and then on to Gremlin Graveyard where we joined up with Joe (Zaedock). Had a blast driving around... there was snow & ice in good amounts to keep things interesting.

At the CG:

Airing down before getting to the landing:

Going in:

The big hill on Mt.Laurel? loop denied all except Joe, who walked up it easily:

Some light recovery:

Everyone made it up the small hill climb to get to the more advanced trail that's off of the landing...

We did a few more loops through GG in the evening before heading back to the landing.

Tony even decided to go down Diaper hill... and made it. Sorry, left my phone in the truck & wasn't able to take a pic.

Breakneck was fun too. We bypassed Curt's sink hole but broke through another deep hole half way down. After some 'scientific' calculation, we decided to try going through the edge of the hole. With everyone at the ready for a rescue, we all made it through with little further excitement down to the gas station to air up & head home.

The snow was just starting to fly, making a perfect ending for a great of day wheeling.

Thought of you today. Especially when Tony was going down Diaper Hill. I recalled your going up, BACKWARDS.
