I love Saranac beer. It's my staple.

I'm a pretty big fan too. Black Forest is pretty much a regular around our place.

Everyone bring a bottle of their favorite wine. I know the winery down here gets their grapes from the finger lakes region. So the wine will be relavent.

I need to remember to bring a wine bottle openner.

I'm pretty sure our Wegmans carries that in sixers. I'd bring you some but......

 Sorry, but I can't do it. I'm just not that much of a 'whiner' or is that 'wino'?

I wish I could find this one...

Wegmans had it for two weeks. Drank a six pack of it and went back for more......and never saw it again.

I found some things out about the wineries for this weekend.

Stop 1: Swedish Hill
Limited sample tastings for free on Saturday.

Stop 2: Knapp Winery
Cocktail of the week: Cherry Avinac Cocktail

Stop 4: Lucas Winery - The oldest winery on the lake
Silver Level Captain?s Table Annual Celebration Weekend

Looks to be a awesome weekend.

Jason...I've checked Wegmans, and they did not have it.

Swedish Hill is one of my favorites...I love their Svenska Red.

Maybe you just havn't found your type of wine yet...I thought I hated wine for the longest time. Turned out I just hated dry wines.

That is why they offer wine tastings.

Micah, I am assuming they charge for tastings or wine glasses to use for tastings?

Cool. We were up in Niagara falls in October and most wineries charges per taste. I thought that was crappy.

I've never seen the Wegman's down here have the lager. They usually only have the india pale ale and black and tan when I'm in there.

I always bring some lager back down each time I'm up visiting my parents. If you want some Micah let me know and I can grab you a case.

I have been to places that charge you for a glass typically a few dollars, but then you use that for the tastings and you keep the glass.
