I secretly snagged and iPhone pic.

Wasn't sure how you'd react if I just stood there and snapped away lol.

Would you like me to post it?

Nominate me for Admirals Award for school for cutting you out of the Jeep? Haha.

Go ahead and post it. If anything it'll help me grow a thicker skin.

I wondered who's arm it was that reached in the cab and cut me out of there. I couldn't see much.

Glad you are OK Mike and glad your wife is ready to get that rig of yours on the trail again.

I was only able to take 24 shots of the day as I was dealing with my Rig at the trail head. Parked the X and had to play catch up as most of the crew was 1/2 way up the trail and I was on foot.
Should be posting them tomorrow. I don't have any of Mike's rig as I was up the hill a bit with Steve's rig.

I am also Very Impressed on how we all came together and helped a member in need. From cleaning up the spill to checking on Mike's condition and righting his Rig then getting it safely down the trail and onto the trailer.
Even though we don't get to see each other that often. We don't miss a beat when we are together.

Info on my Rig to come after it hits the shop tomorrow.

Also who had the Black 2nd gen with the black chrome Nissan and Xterra badges? Did you do that yourself or did you buy them?

-DM-

That's mine. I had a local bodyshop do those last year. They came out awesome. That shop has done a couple other minor cosmetic things for me. Great shop and great work. http://www.modernautobodycollision.com/

On another note, Mike - Jeep Mike - Mike #, uh, I lost count - I'm glad you are OK. I'm glad your wife took things alright, and I'm glad the Jeep will be back up and running. I'm sure you're going to be shooken up for a little while; that's to be expected. But the most important thing to remember is that you walked away from it.

It was a gorgeous day for wheeling, so I thought I would drive 280 miles North to check out this "MA Bell" place.

We had a great turnout of Xterras and a Frontier and a couple Jeeps.

I have a great day despite the unfortunate incident with Mike's Jeep. Luckily, he was ok and that is the important thing. And, we were able to clean up all the debris and fluids (oils, gas) that was spilled during the roll over. Good to see everyone and run a new trail! :D

Well I had a great time. Thanks to all.
Mike I?m glad to hear you got the truck going and that the damage was not as bad as it seemed it would be. We all put ourselves into the same precarious position when we play this game and it could have been anyone of us that this happened to. I know it?s a drag but please don?t carry it as something you feel will make any of us think any less of you (I certainly do not). The more built your vehicle is the more chances you will take.
I was proud to be part of a group that took care of that situation the way it did. Recovery and clean up was done, IMHO, safely and with expertise. I know others helped out but I want to thank Dave and Stephen for really taking the lead on this and Dave and Tiffany for stepping up with their trucks. Nice job. I must admit I was more than a bit embarrassed when I did not have a ?spill kit? in my truck and the group behind us did. Sigh, one more thing to carry.
I did not take many pictures. I seldom do because I?m driving and do not want to hold folks up while I?m posing. Especially on a trail I?ve never been on. Here are the few I have;

I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting the rest of you. You all seemed like cool folks and I hope we can get together and wheel soon. :D

Good to hear that Mike's okay and good job on helping him and for being responsible on the trail with cleanup. Good job guys and girls!

I'll add a "spill kit" to my list of things to carry, for no other reason than to return the favor. Besides the kitty litter may help the car smell a little nicer anyway. ;-)
