I KNOW THAT HOLE ALLLLLL TOO WELL!!

That's when our fun ended Friday @ ECXC... I spent all friday night tearing apart the interior of the X, instead of drinking and having fun, like I had planned. Rob killed the alternator in that hole.

As for the loser in the Pathfinder - Dan, thanks for representing (not the loser part though, just the pathy part :))

The point of the snorkel is he didn't get engine damage!

I'm thinking of investing in a snorkel.

Just like skidplates...a snorkel is pretty cheap insurance against hyrdolocking your motor. And, they look really badass, too!

I'm gonna take a guess here and say that Scott fried his alternator and possibly his starter. if it was the ECU, I don't believe he'd have gotten as far as he did.

Well, my truck is fixed and they say running fine; everything checks out. Needed a new alternator and a battery. I have an Optima red top in there that is about a year old. he says that it won't take a charge. He still has it on the charger, but it hasn't been taking it. That is interesting. I will be taking that thing back.

Any way, it is fixed and I am driving down on Thursday to get it.

Everything I could have fixed myself...oh well, it is done. I would have paid most of that in towing anyway. :?

Wow good news.
I am very surprised that the redtop is not holding a charge. Unless it was shorted out and fried.

Red Top Warranty

Why his laptop wouldn't sync with the ECU...not enough juice due to the bad alternator is a possibility...or it might be that it's running Windows. LOL.

Dash board lights....sensors probably got a little wet, or because of the Alternator, again. When mine crapped out on me in my old car, the same thing happened.
