Anyone interested in participating in the parade or just coming up to watch and hang out?

We participated in last year's parade and made a great showing! It would awesome to have an even bigger group this year.

Please post in this thread if you are interested. Thanks!

The parade is Saturday, May 10 at 10am, and we'd probably have to be there by 0830 to line up.

Sounds interesting. I don't know my work schedule for May yet, but if I'm around, I'd be up for it.

It's a really big parade with tons of groups. It was a lot of fun driving in it last year and the festival is really fun as well. Made a for a nice day trip.

Understandably, this parade is not for everyone. However it is a big event that a lot of people attend. It is also televised, and our group actually got on TV last year, which was cool because the commentators loved the trucks - especially because it's something different than the usual antique cars and muscle cars that other groups have.

It's also a good opportunity to hang out with other club members, we'll be going out to eat after the parade too.

It's a fun time. Even if you don't want to be in the parade, the festival is one of the biggest events in the area, and there is a lot to do.

It was alot of fun last year. I'd like to do it again this year, but my girlfriend is walking for her master's degree on the 10th. Also, my birthday is on the 9th, so.....
