Well, I think I'm the first one to post so far, since most everyone else is still out on the trail, but we had a good run. I was in the Green group, and we managed to hit almost every trail in the park. Had to leave early to get to Pittsburgh for a birthday party by 7, but was fun regardless!
I forgot to bring my freakin camera, so gonna have to wait for everyone else to post some up.

Gonna have to wait till I get home to post up some pics since I don't have the USB cable with me right now. Either way, I had a blast! I wrecked the trailer harness and gave a small tree a love tap (small dent on driver front fender) but otherwise it was a great day. I'm pretty much completely stock and I'm WAY impressed with what I drove over today. Granted, they were all greens, but there were a couple of hairy spots (to me at least). Fun fun fun!

Photos as promised...

Image
On the lift, never a good sign!

Image
Driver Axel separated from front differential

Image
Broken axle shards.

Image
Broken axle.

Image
Explosion of forged steel!

Image
Not strong enough steel! At least for me :-(

Image
Temporary Mechanical Test Plug to seal differential and prevent a leak.

Image
The axle after we cut it and put it back on to hold the hub and wheel.

So, I am looking for a new axle. If anyone knows the best place to buy one cheap and quick, please let me know. Cheap in price, not quality.

How did you do that? I guess better the axle than the diff.

I was coming up a hill and the front tire lost contact with the ground, when it hit the ground it stopped and pulled the axle out of the differential!

I was at the bottom of the hill when he was going up the hill,it sounded like a big KaBooom!.

I had fun I was in the "Blue Trails group" we hit a couple of "Black" trails as well.This was the first time I've been to the park and I look forward to going back,I won't run the blue trails again until I get some skid plates (I have none).I gave the sliders that Speedy built a good test,yes they are now officially "Rock Tested" they held up great.I did get some minor body and oil pan damage:

My Oil Pan got Rocked:

Some new "custom pinstriping"

Speedy took a bunch of pics which you can view here:
http://www.unyxterra.com/gallery/v/user ... ayrun2007/

I uploaded some of the video's Speedy took to my YouTube account,they're the same as what Speedy posted below.

I had a great time and it was great meeting some new people and seeing everyone again.Thank you Anthony for organizing this,you did a great job and Thank you Tom and Mike for picking out some great trails to run on.

I look forward to the next event!

Met up with more trucks than I expected a little later than usual at the park, 9 am, because of hunting season.
Image
It turned out that Anthony and I where the only two that had been to the park recently so the only two that could lead. With a number of new folks there we had to split up into a ?Green? and a ?Blue? group. Anthony volunteered to lead the ?Green? and even though I called him a fag I?m really glad he did. The only thing I hate doing more than leading a group is leading a ?Green? group. Thank you brother.
We did that cool up and down (1C) off of ?B? that Dave and Anthony punked out on the last time I was out. :wink:
Greg and Tim, no problem yo!
Image
Chris and his wife bowl diving!
Image

Then we went over to ?2" and Steve busted his truck on ?Pepper?s? hill near ?Frog Hole?. Steve bounced the truck at the top of the obstacle with the wheels spinning very fast. The wheels caught and BANG! I saw the truck just cresting the top and was taking this picture;
Image
when I heard the bang. I ran up the hill and reached the top in time to see the truck taking a second run at it. Neither of the front wheels was spinning (no four wheel drive). He then backed up into the tree at the base of the hill. :shock:
Don?t judge yo, every one who has wheeled more than a few times has done it including me. I must give ?Props? to Steve for his veteran wheeler type attitude toward the damage to his truck. I would have been completely bummed out and most likely have been done for the day whining and cursing all the way home. He took it in stride, hooked up with Anthony?s ?Green? group and wheeled for a few more hours. Way to represent yo! :thumbup:

We met up with Mike and his Sami and I talked him into leading us for a while after we dropped Steve off with the ?Green? group.

Score! I?m not leading!
Image
He led us onto ?Crawler Ridge? that he and Chris did with no trouble but I broke my ass on. Due to my poor driving skill I had to winch out of two spots and busted the lower bolt on my drivers side rear shock. :oops:
Kenn on part of the ?Ridge?
Image

What?s missing from those Skuderz yo?
Image
After taking off my hanging, useless shock we continued on to the West Property did ?12" and ?10". Lots of fun and stinky mud. Chris popped a bead on ?10" for no apparent reason;
Image
All the mud and water started to affect Mike?s Sami?s steering so he cut out on us saying that he broke my truck so his job was done. :roll:

I took the group back to the ?East Property? and we did ?4" including going down ?Yellow Jacket?. I gone up it before but never down, much easier down. :wink:
Chris on the ?Jacket?;
Image
Kenn and then Greg in the bowl at the end of ?4";
Image
Image
The sun was starting to go down so we headed out to the ?Comp? area where I posed;
Image
while the guys messed around, then aired up and went to visit Mike, check on his truck, say hi to Dawn, see the baby (Sam, a real cutie) and let them buy me a adult beverage. Thanks guys! :D After a quick shower back at camp, had a great dinner at the Red Lion, a few beers at the cabin and hit the sack. I got back at around noon in time to see the Jets beat up on the fish! A 2 ? hour return trip and beat the storm!

Had a great time (all you posers missed out again) thanks to Anthony putting this together. :thumbup:
