I'm regrounding my CB as we speak so I can use it on the thruway. I'll be on 19, and hopping over to 25 as I get closer to the DBBQ.

I had forgotten this..... my wife just reminded me.

If you don't have one in your area, this place is worth the visit (I think).

HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS. Lots of inexpensive tools and stuff. Whenever I go there, I get ideas for projects. It's usually full of guys wnadering around like they are 10 years old, and it's a toy store.

This suggestion might be a little late, though.

Hey Guys,
This is kevin, Tim's brother. He sustained a pretty hefty concussion last night in our hockey game, so he asked that i post on here and apologize for not coming. He's been throwing up the past few hours as this is his 3rd concussion in so many years.

he says he's sorry he couldnt make it.

Just got in from Syracuse...

Erin and I had a great time hanging out with everyone today. I think Erin said it best when she told me she thought it was a nice get together because it proved "we don't just get together because we all like off roading but because we consider each other friends".

Hope everyone else had a good time. I'd like to see us do these types of get together more often (especially in the 'off-season'). Any suggestions for improvement are welcome. Send me a u2u if you'd like.

I'll set up a folder in the photo gallery under Events and post some pictures in a bit..

Tim, I hope you feel better.

I had a great time today. It was fun to do a "hang out" social event. Food was great and the company was even better. Nice to see everyone and meet some new people.

Thanks for a good day! :D

First of all, TIM! we thought you stood us all up! Glad you're okay and nothing worse happened. Hope you feel better quickly!! :)

Second, I just got home like 10 minutes ago. NO, i didnt' get lost! My X broke down on 476 near allentown, PA. I was cruising along and then all of a sudden i heard a little thud, then no acceleration. So i had to ride about 2 hours home with the tow truck guy. Luckily he wasn't a weirdo! It def was an expirience... a $250 experience. woohoo. Looks like my exhaust is gonna have to wait and probably a couple other things to get my sexy Xy running again :)
Anyways, I had a lot of fun today! it was nice seeing some of you again and meeting new people!!

Nancy, glad you made it home ok.

A thud and no acceleratrion? I have no idea. The fuel pump doesn't usually just go thud, you usually get some bucking as it dies. Did it stay running? Maybe it's as simple as your throttle cable came dissconnected somehow.

I hope it is an easy fix. :?
