It was a good run...

We got there, met up with the two jeep guys and got headed out... everyone made it through the first hill that i'm told was the nightmare hill last time you guys ran it in the rain... Then... Dan goes and decides to get himself stuck.. but not just any stuck, the kind of stuck that requires another X to get stuck trying to get him unstuck... lol..

I have pics of that, but it will be tommorow before they are posted...

Both jeeps that met us there had a winch, and they both used them.. The one guy used his several times... I think the only body damage was to a jeep , so we can live with that.. lol

good time though, and for being so close to Rochester.. I'll never miss a run there... UNLESS ITS RAINING OF COURSE...

Had a fun time, and it was great meeting everyone and wheeling.

Special thanks is due to Hugh and Jeff who joined us from the Finger Lakes Jeep Club. They put in a lot of winching time.

This has to be the most unresponsive run we've had at the end...

I will resize and post pics soon, I didn't take many though.

CJ with the TJ, however, took like 478 pictures... maybe HE should post some. ;)

yeah I had a good time the wheeling was I think really good. the place was challenging enough to make it fun.

I had a few close calls almost rolled in one spot and I winch pull dragged my truck into a tree but no damage surprisingly. can't complain

It was good meeting you guys and enjoying the nice weather. I'm down to go do a run there again or even go to another park.
I'm most likely going to go to this event as well. I don't know if any of you are interested to get together as a group and go. Kind of pricey 70 bucks for the day but hey they throw in a t-shirt and spaghetti dinner.

Did Jared slide down the trail into that position?

he sure did....

it was a pretty damn steep hill that once at the bottom turned right and you crossed over a couple logs. CJ and his stock TJ (i love saying that) had gotten stuck highcentered on the logs and the rigs behind him where stopped.

He apparently had his hill decent on and it just gave out or something. He hit the brakes, but has to much speed at that point and had to pick between hitting a jeep, a tree, or a stump... stump sounded much better..

it was a pretty scary moment for him i'm sure...
