Already signed up for ECXC, wondering if anything else is in the works, like April fools run.

Nothing official has been planned at the club level prior to ECXC due to the uncertainty around the Pandemic, vaccination rates, etc..

We’re hoping that by July the situation will be much improved & larger groups with reasonable precautions will be feasible.

Picking up where this left off: anything besides ECXC for 2022? There seems to be nothing going on.

We haven’t had an official club event since Northern Exposure run earlier this year. Next planned one is ECXC. Between now & then, personally, I’m not able to commit. But if there’s a date/property you want to try, can help put something together.

There’s are regional events going on if you wanted to scratch the itch - 508Intl has a few coming up, the quarterly NEA mtgs have wheeling & our SMs can attend those, etc..

Of the properties available (excluding Rausch & AOAA), 508Intl is the easiest & the next easiest that we have legal access to is Brookridge. All other are at the Brookridge level or harder. Rausch & AOAA have trails for all levels.

Did we lose access to Summit and Ma Bell?

Unfortunately, yes to Summit. Owners changed or something & the NEA hasn’t been able to work out a deal with them yet.

MaBell is still open. But without Summit, it’s a short trail.

Two other local runs coming up. Both from clubs in the NEA & have a few slots open for supporting members from our club

JT4x4 have a run this weekend (5/21) at their private property in Gales Ferry, CT & have a couple of spots open. I have not been there but expect it to be hard.

MassMudders have a run 7/9 at their property, for a limited number of rigs. They are calling for “absolutely bare minimum 1 locker (that works), 33’s, working winch”. I would consider that a requirement for a hard trail, I would be hesitant to run it unless you are comfortable on black level trails at A place like Rausch or have a high tolerance for damage.

Yikes. Looks like I'll wait for a "Jeep" day at 508 or something. Need to keep it tame enough for my 3.5yo to come with me, and it looks like they have a two truck minimum rule.

That stinks about Summit. I always enjoyed that duo.

You might also want to keep an eye on the ExploreIngNH (https://forums.exploringnh.com/forum.ph ... 999d3ad93d ) they have runs up in NH. I’ve been on several of them & always had a good time.
