Well i'm replacing my inner and outer tie rod ends because well the outers are frozen to the inners. I know i could break them free but I said F it and bought Moog inners and outers.

My X needs to be aligned, it hasn't been since November due to the camber bolts freezing, then after i fixed that issue they told me my tie rods were frozen after I went back. My Duratracs are only showing little wear on outside edges.

I'm looking to replace them either tomorrow or monday. Any tips would be great.

If you can, grab the new sleeves and make life easy on yourself.
you can use a joint fork to remove the ends seeing that you are replacing both.

you can tape measure your old ends and setup the new ones to get them close.

grease them up really good on the threads so next time they are free to adjust.

save an old one with the nuts and throw it in your trail stuff, just in case you need it.

word of caution, make sure the threads on the adjuster and ends are in good shape, and use some anti-seize compound to help keep dirt and grime out from between the threads...i had a tie rod end separate from the adjuster a few weeks ago on the highway...found out that muck and dirt between the threads wore out the adjuster and it was able to pull right out

scary shit

I completed this last week. I got the inner tie rod tool from harbor freight and it did not fit. So I used an adjustable locked it on and broke the inner free. Used big zip ties to put the boot back on the steering. Then the outers were easy as anything. I did not use anti-seize forgot to get it and this had to be done. But everything is coming off in March when I Titan swap.
