If there is no sign of sealant when you get yours use Teflon tape, not loctite. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

...or Thread Sealant with PTFE. Tape is not as messy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As a general rule you never use loctite on air, oil, fuel or hydraulic systems. Thread sealant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It we me who snapped a brake line at OFR. I have 2 spares all around for this weekend. Also picked up a 3/16" brass plug and coupling to stop the bleeding during operating. |

Installed mine over the weekend along with new brake lines. Made sure there was always plenty of fluid in the reservoir. I bled the brakes starting with the passenger rear, then driver rear, passenger front & then the driver front. The pedal feels ok but could do with more firmness (ok...no 'that's what she said jokes' here ). Looking to bleed them again today but thinking back on the process, have a couple of questions. While bleeding the brakes do you: 1. Keep the engine running or shut it off? 2. Keep the brake fluid reservoir open or closed? I assumed this was just to make it easier to pour in more fluid if it was getting low. |

Engine off, reservoir open. Don't let the reservoir get too low, you don't want it to empty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks Tom. Bled the brakes again tonight & they feel a lot better. On a different note, noticed my rear diff seems to be leaking a bit. Looks like an aftermarket diff cover will be my next purchase. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
