Can someone do me a HUGE favor and get me some measurements?
I need the length, width, and the specs on the little notches. Also, the length between the bolt holes would be really helpful. I found a place where I can get 3/16 plate steel in 4x8 sheets for $200. Thanks in Advance!

I don't know how you are equipped or your level of expertise so please do not take offence when I say keep in mind that even though Shrock?s and Skidrow?s plates are made with 3/16" thick steel they not just a flat piece of steel. They are bent up on the sides to give them a bit more strength, not an easy task without the proper equipment.
Just a heads up bro?

A new one might work for measurements, but I certainly would not want to measure mine. The are so bent, dented and twisted that I'm sure I could not get an accurate measurement.

While I have all the tools I would need to make one, it would be cheaper just to buy one.

Cutting to size with a plasma cutter...easy...bending the seams, doable, but difficult. Getting all the holes to line up...more than I want to deal with.

If I were to do this, I would start with my own design and go from there. I would cut smaller pieces and hard-weld the seams so it would not bend, but invert the welds for a smooth surface. I could do it with about 40 hours of actual build time and twice that for planning, but it's cheaper, IMHO, to buy them from someone who has already done the math.

fully agree.... there is a lot of little pieces welded on there + some bends + drilling some holes.... If you are really going to use it, I'll take the mesurements for you before I put it on the truck, while it's still intact. but for $200.... not too sure I'd go through all that trouble!
