This weekend I am going to tackle 2 projects.
and would appreciate some question I have on each on my 2003 xterra 4wd manual transmission
1. Replace suspension.
I already have the blistein shocks and want to repalce the stock shocks which have 130k on them. Is this a simple bolt off/ bolt on procedure?
2. replace radiator
Stock readiator is leaking, ordered a new one online. What else do I need to replace beside fluid? hoses? etc?? is there a detailed how to anywhere? is it a pretty simple procedure??
Any info is appreciated..... would rather not screw up the X as I need it!

The shocks are a simple bolt on procedure, however, with 130k, you may have difficulty. Soak the bolts well with PB blaster. You may want to consider getting new bolts before you start because the bolts tend to rust weld to the sleeves in the shocks. a torch may help, but be careful in the front as the nut is welded to the ear on the lower control arm and it may push the ear out if the bolt isn't free form the sleeve.
You should replace all the hoses while you are replacing the radiator. I would get new clamps as well. You very well may have to cut the old hoses off if they won't pull off.

Good thought, Gene. While the radiator is out is a good time to do it.

Oh ok. I was just checking as it would have been easir to just do the timing belt at the same time.
But since it's been done already then I would just do like Scott (daggerdoggie) said and change out the hoses and clamps with the radiator. Oh and it would be a wise idea to change out the radiator cap if a new one doesn't come with the new radiator.
