Late in 2007, I bought an ARB front locker that I never got around to installing for one reason or another, even though I bought a second front diff so that I could install the locker in it and then just swap out the diffs in one day - rather than take it out, install the locker and then re-install.

Late last week, I won that rear locker that was on ebay and it should arrive tomorrow.

The time has come to get them installed... So, I talked to the guy who's doing the fab work on my suspension and he's going to get them in for me so that I'll be fully locked for ECXC this year (sorry to the other teams as Tom and I step things up just one more notch).

Anyway, since there doesn't seem to be a rebuild kit for our diffs, I contacted our in-house encyclopedia (Dagger) for what he needed when he was doing his.

He pointed me to the post that he started on XF about 4 years ago (link below) that contained the list of parts that he needed when he did his front and rear lockers.

So, thank you Scott for pointing me in the right direction (again) and, for the rest of us, here's the list of stuff that Scott needed when he was having his lockers installed:

Front locker $690
Rear locker $690
ARB Compressor $195
Shipping $ 50
Stuff (est.) $ 25
Nissan seals and ring gear bolts $132 (I'll post all the part numbers when I find the bill)
Bearing race (2) part #17831
Bearing race (2) part #17887 $58.86
Bearing part #38440-N3111 $57.62
Gear lube $14.80

Good info! :D
Enjoy that front ARB. Glad to hear it's getting installed.
I just hooked up another Nexterra member with a brand new in the box front ARB. ;)

I've been looking at doing the rear locker for my rig, but it's still around 900 bones.

Good luck with the install

Oh, we'll need you.

We'll need you to spot us over the obstacles that everyone else has to go around.
