does anyone here have one?
Since Autozone is now telling me they won't clear any codes, I don't know for sure if the code I have (P0446) needs to be cleared, or if I have a bad connection/crosswired the sucker.

I have one... I would try a different Autozone or maybe Advanced. Unless it is a new policy change I had them clear knock sensor codes a few months ago... I got sick of going back all the time and bought my own. Though I am clearing KS codes every day now. It may just be cheaper for you in the end to buy one and save the gas money.

this worked for me... i found it on a forum dont remember where though... the following is copied from it.
I found a way to reset my 2002 manually. Very similar to 2002 Maxima, and I found it on the maxima forum.
With Car off, release gas pedal completely
Turn Key to ignition position for 3 seconds, do not start,
Press gas pedal to the floor and release 5 times in 5 seconds
wait 7 seconds, then press gas pedal to the floor for 10 seconds.
When SES light starts flashing release gas pedal
Press and hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor for more than 10 seconds
When the SES light flashing again, release the gas pedal
The SES should flash 10 times, pause, flash 10 times, pause, flash 10 times and pause and flash 10 times.
Turn the ignition off
Wait 3 seconds and start the car.
Good luck

They told me the same thing. I guess it's a policy they have. They will let you clear it though. They just can't do it.

If your looking for a OBD reader I would suggest Scan Gauge products. PS Rockaholic you have a PM.
