Hello everyone, I'm from nashua nh. I am New to this site and off roading in general. I don't have an xterra but I do have a r51 pathfinder. I'm looking to do maybe an expedition type rig build and start wheelin it.

Hi, you know this is a Xterra site right? Okay, just kidding, WELCOME ABOARD! My previous vehicle was a 02 pathy and it treated me well for close to 10 years, probably why I stuck with Nissan. As I'm sure you've noticed, we have a few members who are wheeling their pathfinders and hopefully they can help with their experience and knowledge.
Just a clarification for us, "Off Roading" or "Expedition rig"? I'm not saying the are exclusive of each other but the goals aren't quite the same either. A real hard core off road rig gets trailered to the trail head, a hard core expedition rig is closing in on a go most anywhere camper.
Again, welcome! Scott

Howdy from Boston! We actually have another member with a built R51 near you, I'm sure she'll chime in soon.
It's actually not a bad time to be a Pathy owner - NissTec and Hefty Fabworks are now both supporting the R51 aftermarket, so check them out.

I'm not looking to build a hard core off road rig to be trailered around, I am definelty planning on an expedition rig. It would be nice to hear from other people with r51's to get some insight.
Thank you
