Hi guys! Just wanted to say hello, now that I'm all registered.

I live in Brighton, MA now, but I'm originally from outside of Albany, NY. I also lived in NC for 4 years in between.

I've been around the car 'thing' a bit and have owned mostly VWs or Jeeps until I bought my '08 Off-Road (6-speed) last fall. Almost a year later, I can still say that I REALLY like the truck. It fits all my needs perfectly and is still 'small' enough to squeeze into the parking deck at work. As far as mods; I'm sitting on a calmini spacer kit for the front and I'm debating on ordering the leaf pack or just the shackles for the rear. If you have any used parts you're looking to get rid of, I'm all ears!

I'm also pretty into bikes (the main reason I bought the X was so I could put multiple bikes IN it). So, if you're a bike nerd too- give me a shout out. I've got a little shop going at home and do a lot of repairs and fun builds. I've been known to do some repairs/tunes in exchange for cold beers. Jussayin.

Rock on!
-Anthony

Well, I lived IN Albany for a few years, but since you're from Oneonta, I may as well admit that I grew up in Duanesburg (right off of I88). I used to go out to Stamford to ski and mountain bike a lot when I lived closer. A stop at Brooks was always a nice treat on the way home.

Thanks guys! I've been lurking for a while, but I'll start posting more now that I know you're so welcoming.

Thanks, guys!

X-Terror, My X actually came from Saratoga Nissan. Luckily I didn't get caught up in all that fraud drama that went down... Madness.

Lucky you.
Glad I didn't get mine there. It was fun watching the news clips of the salesmen running from the camera.
