Figured I should reintroduce myself been around but lots changed.

I’m Mike, I’m from Buffalo NY

Had an 00 Xterra for along time(4+ years). Of the 3 cars I had my wife took the X when she left me while I was at work after over 10yrs of marriage (totally unexpected) That left me with her 06 Jetta and my work truck 00 diesel Excursion.

Then I changed employment where I use to haul cars/boats with either a tow truck or the excursion. (Now work on European cars.) So that left the excursion to become more a toy. It’s now got a front locker refreshed rear LSD, and manual swapped. but I found it’s an amazing over-landing rig. But It stinks on the trail after owning an Xterra. It’s big and is stupid heavy think 3 xterras in weight with the big 7.3 under the hood and all the over-landing gear.
Then a friend called said he knew someone who had an Xterra that died on the hwy then got hit by a city plow was going to scrap it. I probably would have passed if it didn’t have a manual transmission. So here I am back with an 02 Xterra 5 speed enthusiast package I guess. Had factory manual locking hubs and 0 options.
I’ve now gone kinda crazy, put a New timing belt on it (that fixed the died on hwy), new distributor (fixed random misfire), new alt (had a quest one from my old ex was my trail spare), put headers on (stock one was cracked) found ARB bumper, 2in body lift (modified arb to fit with lift) I have a Lokka locker in the box that was for the old X (still need to install) oh and pipe plugs intake mode and ordered my Navara snorkel (fav mod on my old X)

Anyways Hopfully I’ll make it out to a meet soon trying to plan for April Fools run if I can get this thing reliable enough.
