*Any other tips?

I agree with Suresh; unless you’re planning to permanently disconnect the sway bar leave it on. If you’ve never messed with it before now it might be rust welded-on or bent and then even if you can get it off you might not be able to put it back on. Wheel a few times with it and then see how you feel.

I agree; 15-20psi should be fine.

Auto Trans in 1st unless you’re on an access road

I agree; 4Lo and Go!

If you keep your full-size spare tire under your truck ya might want to move and strap it down inside or to the roof. Getting it from under the truck in the woods or on an obstacle sucks.

Don’t forget lunch and water.

Everyone here wants you to succeed, will help you in any way they can and will never knowingly put you in any danger... but when all is said and done its your truck, you are the only one responsible for it and your safety. Not your spotter, not the group, YOU.

You should never feel pressured to run an obstacle you’re unsure about. No one here will make fun of you if you choose a bypass or ask for help (advice on how to attack or a spot).

If you or your truck gets f%#ked up you will be paying the price, not the group of nut jobs you met online.

Have fun!

Totally agree, I am still a noob and didn’t remove my rear sway bar until after a few runs. Not sure I would remove the front? At least not for me since it’s my daily. I have been running around 15 psi and it seems to work well.

Tom ( hope I got the name right) brings out good points about the spare tire and feeling comfortable also the group in general they have been invaluable to me as I learn.

GG is a lot a fun and the crew is great! Gonna have a lot fun this weekend , looking forward to it.

Wouldn’t bother disconnecting the sway bar. Gremlin is tough in some spots, but none of it warrants having to remove it.

If you have stiffer coils in the front, it’s possible to remove it completely and leave it off, but road manners are a bit more dangerous, and care should taken to avoid sudden changes in direction. If you have the stock front springrate, just leave it on.

I've taken off the front sway bar a few times when installing the lift and again when replacing the bushings. But I think I'll leave it on. Spare tire is on the back of my HC bumper. I'm not a huge risk taker so I'm not particularly worried about damage except for freak accidents. And pin striping is a badge of honor anyway.

Yes, still the same.

If an extra shirt becomes available, I'll let you know.

Tony you can have my shirt, I never put in a size and I think Mike ordered a small, as some kind of messed up joke.

As for the event, I can’t make Friday night, the guy covering my shift is getting sent to NC for the hurricane and I’m required to work. Where is the meet up for the Monson group? Or is it at the camp ground?

First of all - hahaha... serves you right for not filling out the form completely.

Second of all -
Drivers Meeting Time: 8:30am Saturday at Pratt Field at Oak Haven Campground. GPS: 42.06793, 72.22202

Hope you can make it dude, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you at a run.

Unfortunately I can't make it this year, which I'm a little bummed out about. It's my son's 10th birthday and I just couldn't convince him that the B2SR was the best way to spend it. Kids these days, jeez. Anyhow, have fun everyone!

As much as I think wheeling in Kyrgyzstan sounds like a blast, may I recommend that people meet up at 42.06793, -72.22202
