You guys have noticed the 3 new banners at the top of our page from Shrockworks, Powertank, and PRG. They are our three main sponsors for this event.

Below is what I've been able to accumulate for prizes for this event.

Jim is donating a $100 gift certificate!

Steve is doing an amazing job sponsoring us! In the picture above you see:

Jen and Greg have graciously donated a $100 gift certificate!!

Because of these three companies generous donations they have been given banners and they will be on the t-shirts for the event.

Other Sponsors include:
Flagpole Nissan: 4 Air Filters and 4 Oil Filters
Tractor Supply Company $40 Gift Card
Wal-Mart: $25 Gift Card
T.G.I. Fridays: 4 Free Appetizers or desserts
Poker Face Supplies: 47"x47" Poker Table Top
Homemade Gourmet: BBQ Kit which includes the following:
    Teriyaki Marinade
    Garlic Basil Seassoning
    Garlic Lemon Marinade
    Southwest Marinade
    Baked Beans Seasoning
    Kansas City Rub
    BLT Dip
    Grilling Cookbook
    Basting Brushes
    Flicker
    BBQ Skewers
UNYX: Xterra Wash Kit which includes the following:
    3 Gallon Bucket
    20oz Auto Wash & Wax
    32oz Glass Clear
    10 All-Purpose Gloves
    50 Auto Wipes
    All Purpose Sponge
    Scrubbing Sponge

UNYX: Gift Certificate to our web store

I'm not sure if I will be able to get more companies to make donations before the event. Just in 'merchandise' we have around $500 in value, not including the hundreds of dollars you guys can save on the gift certificates from Powertank.

Some companies I never heard back from and some flat out said no. It's a start to a process that will take some time to master. If you have suggestions as to what YOU would like to see as prizes for the raffles then let me know!

Prices for tickets are:
$1 for 1
$3 for 5
$10 for 15
$20 for 30
$25 for As many tickets as I am tall. (Which is a lot) :)

There will be cups for each item, so you can pick which items you would like to win.

If I do get more items from companies I will be adding them as I get them.

Those are some pretty sweet prizes.

Next year, let me know about the marketing end of this.. I used to do volunteer work for a charity and one of the things that I was able to pull off was getting sponsorship.

As for what I'd want, I'd look for armor, toys... services (like welding and paintwork) and maybe accessories (Hi-lift anyone?)

Will do, Mike. And the company that makes the Hi-Lift never got back to me, tried on a few occassions to reach them.

Nice work, Jeff. I picked up the filters yesterday...now we have to stop by Flagpole in the morning...I think they're going to advertise to "stop by and see what your Xterra can do."

it is a sweet range of prizes....
All I can think is that you must've been making some serious calls to get that swag that you did.

I got two of each. Although, the oil filters are almost exactly the same for both.

Looks like some great prizes.
Sam and I have our eyes on that homemade bbq kit. So HANDS OFF everyone. ;)

Is there any cost (or suggested donation) per person for the bbq/camping/food?
Or is the plan to get reimbursed by the raffle?
In which case I'll definitely pick up a lot of tickets.

Ken, that BBQ kit is from my wifes home business. She wanted to donate something, and it will come in a small tool box to boot! :)

I don't think a donation to scott would hurt for the cost of the chicken. But tha's just me. :)
