The 9th Annual “NEXTerra Back to School Run”
This is The North East Xterra Club’s premier event!
As in years past, the event begins when folks start to arrive at Scott’s house on Friday the 20th. We will be camping in Scott’s front yard where there’s plenty of room for everyone and their trucks.
On Saturday you will be given a unique opportunity to run your truck on some very challenging trails located on private land in beautiful upstate New York. The trails are not that rocky, but slick with a lot of tree roots that are hard to grip. Rain makes it much worse. Good tires are the priority.
If you've never wheeled, this might not be the best trails to start with. However, we have many experienced drivers in the club who are willing to help you learn. If you feel unsure about tackling this type of terrain, there will be folks willing to have you ride shotgun in their trucks so that you can get a feel of the “off-road” experience without putting your truck in danger.
Saturday evening is the party that includes a raffle and a BBQ featuring Scott’s famous chicken and/or pulled pork. B.Y.O.B., B.Y.O. drink, snacks, cooler and ice.

Fee:
$35 - Supporting members (Become a supporting member!)
$45 - Non-supporting members
$15 - per guest for food
Cash at the event or Paypal (paypal@nexterra.org) accepted.
Event fees cover:
- 2 Meals - Saturday Lunch & Dinner
- Event Shirt
- Event Decal
- Access to private land to wheel
- Five raffle tickets, with the opportunity to buy extras
- Camp site (we're camping on Scott's front yard, there are no rooms indoors)
- Hanging with some of the most welcoming Xterra owners in the Northeast
Waivers: All attendees (drivers & passengers) must sign two waivers - one for Nexterra (print it out here & bring it along) & one from the property owner (on Sat morning)
Quiet time starts 11pm both nights!
As a courtesy to those attending, if you are partying after 11pm, please continue at a lower volume.
There will be a strict “NO MODDING” policy in effect!
Scott’s garage area will be OFF LIMITS during this event. We will not leave you stranded in Oneonta if you break. If you need tools/access to the garage, talk to the Godfather of the garage - Tom (Bklyn.X)
There are 2 options for shirts this year - a long sleeve and a short sleeve.
If you choose a long sleeve during registration, it's an additional $5 on top of the event fee.
If you would like to order additional shirts, prices are:
Short sleeves: S-XL $15, 2XL and up $20
Long sleeves: S-XL $20, 2XL and up $25
