As of today I plan on leaving Brooklyn at 10:30am on Friday the 16th.

Pasha wants to come up with Mike but does not get out of school until a bit later in the day so I am adjusting my schedule so that we can convoy up together (Mike and Pasha both owe me a beer).

So I plan to meet them and hopefully Jerry north of NYC at the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza on the NYS Thruway (I-87) at between 11:30am and Noon. At 12 noon I’m out of there.


After Sloatsburg I’ll will be taking Route 17 (as I have in the past) and then stop in Roscoe for lunch and a beverage, then head north to Scott’s.

That should have me sitting on Scott’s deck sipping a cold one before 5. Maybe help out Scott, Mike or whomever with any set up.

Jerry, you coming from Queens? I could come up the BQE, tri-borough, major deegan. Meet ya somewhere on that route instead of Manhattan. That might be better for both of us.

Up to you bud. I'm flexible. But you may be right....Manhattan may be a little crowded by then. Where's Mixxali coming from?

Mike is a Brooklyn boy and will most likey meet me there (or in Walton).

You taking 87 to go north? I can meet you just past the GWB....no other spots to really stop before that. Maybe first rest stop past the GWB? Or I can just pull over till you guys pass then catch up.
