I just picked up a full set of armor from a great guy, FuryX aka Eric, and a set of firestone mud terrains. also have some sliders and miscellaneous parts for my truck and a few for your auction. I hope to able to keep up with everyone now. i just have to install all this stuff.

Sounds great! You'll be ready. Sliders are more important that amour underneath. There are not too many rocks at Roby's that is, unless you plan on running the gorge. If you do, plan on body damage. It's where all of mine has come from. Never at Rausch or Paragon or even Old Florida Road.

no body damage please. Had enough done last Saturday staying at a friends place in the city. someone broke my windows and hit the door frame with their crack head window breaking stick. they took about 3 dollars in change.?!?!

i hope to be as able as most of you, i still have an open diff and no winch but still going to try to do as much as the X will let me.

You'll be fine...
We will yank you out of anything that you get stuck in.

On my end..
All I need to do is pack my bag, load the truck on the trailer and get everything from the garage to my pick up...

I am so ready...

MtDewMike for the payments...
Waiver can be any officer.

If you want to send your payment early, you can use PayPal. paypal@nexterra.org. Please include your screen name so that I know who you are.

I just made the punch core ingredients... had some straight to test it out.

My tongue went numb...

So, I think it's ready.

But, I will caution those who want to have some...

eat something first...
maybe have a beer first - just to get warmed up.

Once you have some, plan on doing a lot of sitting and not too much walking around.

Oh.. and you may see three of each person

Got a question for the people who are heading up 87 from ny and Ct, does anyone know what route we can take that will avoid potentially closed roads/washed out bridges? I'm thinking main highways might be best, but I'm really not sure at this point with all the damage from recent storms. Also how's the conditions looking for camping at scotts place?

I'm not sure of the roads, but I would expect Scott's yard to be a little moist... So, bring a tarp to put your tent on.

Things are fine at my place. It's still been raining, so the lawn is not mowed, but that will be fine. Just be careful when driving on the lawn. The is an obvious wet spot, so avoid that.

The forecast for the weekend looks good: http://www.accuweather.com/us/ny/west-o ... asp?fday=2

I would stick to major roads. Those will be open and the major roads will take you about the same time as taking "shorter" routes. Believe me, I have traveled them all and, while the distance may be less, you won't save any time.

If you want to tempt it, you can always check here: http://www.511ny.org/

I would avoid State Route 23. That area through Cairo, Windham, and Prattsville got hit really hard. There is no Prattsville anymore. The town is mostly gone. I don't know for sure if 23 is open all the way, the web site is not saying it is closed now, but there were big problems there in the past two weeks.

It doesn't say it is closed... but I won't take responsibility. The website shows nothing closed and I know that's not true. Having said that, that area did not get all the flooding we had this time.

Route 17 to Deposit to Route 8, to I-88 is not a bad option. Then again, I have not been on either of these roads in the last month.
