Trails look pretty sloppy. :D
Can't wait!

Are there separate trails for yellow and red or is it optional lines or bypasses, etc?

Just curious if it's going to be two separate groups.

I think we'll be leaning towards the yellow trails since its the first time out with Sam's Jeep and I have NO IDEA what it's capable of.

Oh, and she'll be driving as well. ;)

there are yellow trails and red trails and they sometimes share a short length.. but, they are all good.

We'll likely do two groups since it's a lot of trucks and it'd be really slow going if we tried to keep everyone together.

Looks like a great time.

I?m curious on how you plan to split the groups.
Is there a plan or are you going to wing it Saturday morning (mistake IMHO).

Two groups:

1) 33" and bigger tires with lockers and/or a winch

2) Anything else

3) Option for hardcore: There is plenty in there, so at some point some can split off for that option.

Doesn't sound like much of a plan, but it's about what we can do. We did spend a whole day marking trails. We will make final assignments on Friday night.

I've been thinking about it and we could / should include winches in each group. For the reds, we could have non-winch trucks, but we'd need to have a winch at the ready to get them up those locations where skills / tires and luck can't help.

Both groups will have to have people with a winch. Both groups will have people who will get stuck. That is for sure.

I did have to winch myself out of a yellow section.

I'll volunteer to be in the yellow group as I had fun on Saturday and would like others to be able to do some of the stuff that I did

Hmmmm....maybe I will drive this one. I have 2" SL, 33" tires and sliders but no skids (except the stock OR gas tank skid). Being as most of this is mud, it looks like I should be ok.

fubar, you should be ok. It's not rock crawling like RC is. I've only got a 3" lift and 33s and I went last year and didn't have any major issues.
