Long day. It began with Mike helping me unload 2800 lbs of shingles. Thanks Mike!

We got to Roby's land at around 10:30 and marked plenty of trails to keep us buys. Yellow caution tape for the easier trails; Red fire tape for trails that will require at least 33" tires, lift and a winch. You will need the winch.

The plan is to get to the trails by 8:00am and be out of the woods by 4:00pm. That will give us plenty of time to wheel and get back for the BBQ at a reasonable hour.

This is going to be a great time!

Just the beginning:

The photos don't do this trail justice. It is steep. Anyone want to try it?

I'll copy all of the pictures off my camera tonight and either post up tonight or early tomorrow.

All I can say is that this year will be better than last year. There are new trails, the trails from last year are better and there are parts for everyone to work with.

We spent a lot of time marking the trails today and I cannot emphasize enough that the yellows will be good and the reds will be challenging. I had to use my winch twice and, both times, I was dead sure that I'd get through that section without a problem.

You will have fun and, at the end of the day, you will be ready to take a seat, crack a beer (or other beverage) and say 'damn.....'
