Mike (Svendog) and I had a great day pre-running the trails for the Back to School Run.

Some fun trails and beautiful scenery. I didn't take any pictures, but Zach took a few...we had camera problems.

Those are some good looking trucks.
I posted up my thoughts about the run on the B2S thread

Well, also, as I said, you can expect some body damage. Six years of wheeling this truck; four or five of them doing some hardcore trails, and I have been lucky with no real body damage.

My good luck ran out today.

Maybe Scott should look for some blue doors and replace those scratched yellow ones.

That's why it's important to appreciate that it's not a stock friendly set of trails

Truthfully, it was my stupid fault. Axle deep in mud, I should have looked at what was in there. I was getting frustrated with being stuck and kept falling into the same hole. When the same thing happens three or four times, get out and look and do something different.[/u]

I can't compare today vs. what you went out on before, but it was all over the place.. I was on the ledge above the area Scott was going back and forth in and got myself stuck to the point that I had to be winched out.

So, the way I see it, straps and winches will help where tires can't

It might sound a bit weird to most but seeing the damage to your truck makes me jealous of you and Mike out scouting trails. I wish I could have made the trip. :(

Yeah... Scott and I talked about that and decided that you'd have loved to have been there.
