I don't think we're near there yet, so don't worry.

Hmm. My tires aren't so good. They're the stock BFG Rugged Trails. They have gotten me through some stuff in the past, but lately, they're not wearing too good in the front.

Any open seats?

Absolutely dude! Mand won't be going in the woods so I'll have a shotty seat open to you if you like.

Well in the spirit of the run's theme.....

Dagger's Chicken starter site just emailed me the BTSR's

Now I haven't reviewed what they listed I figured we could all get an idea of something you might want to bring. 8)

ok... I'm sure Scott will have more to add, but as I just got back from his place and scouting the trails, I can feel reasonably certain that no one will be disappointed.

The caveat to this is that good tires are a must. Being modified (lifted and such) helps as there are some areas where being flexible and taller can make a difference. But, if your tires are not at least good M/Ts, I'd say that it might be worth staying on the boundary trails and spend less time within the core area. The reason being that it's muddy and it's the kind of mud that just sticks into your tires, making them pretty slick in the process. So, if they're not grippy to start, they are going to become free spinning pretty quickly.

Going into Saturday, make sure that you're expecting some sort of 'remembrance' of the day, whether it be new scratches, body damage, etc.. Most of the spaces are tight and I can easily see a few people rubbing trees as a result. I left without anything more than a coat of mud, so it's possible that most of us will go out with everything in tact at the end of the day.. But, I cannot caution the group enough that - becacuse it's a lot of mud on very little used trails, it's not predictable and you can slide pretty easily.

It should be a great time.

Tiffany, it's next Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the trail run on Saturday. Look in the Back To School section under the Details thread for all the news that you need to know.

And, I'm not telling what the comment was.
