Steve, you're referring to the private land he was talking about, of which permission has been denied.... I believe that is what you are talking about.

I am totally in.
Eric, based upon what Scott described to me the other night, lockers might help, but traction is what you need the most. So, as long as your tires are good for the rough stuff, that will make the big difference.

And I have a pirate flag.

Hmm. My tires aren't so good. They're the stock BFG Rugged Trails. They have gotten me through some stuff in the past, but lately, they're not wearing too good in the front.

Any open seats?

Please make the sticker for Tom; send it to me and I'll put it on his truck so he can display it for everyone in Brooklyn to see.

Land to wheel on is getting tough to find. More and more public trails get closed every year and I will no longer go on questionable trails. The land which I was originally going to use is not available that weekend or any other Saturday this fall and Sundays don't work for people who have to travel.

I'm still working out final details for this land, but the trails are nice and what I call true wheeling: in the woods, tight trails and not well traveled. What happens is since they are not worn down, there is a lot of organic material which can make things very slick, particularly in wet conditions. Rocks are easy; unblaisened trails can be tricky, but again, I think true offroading. I just don't want anyone to get in over their head and there was a fair amount of carnage the last time I went with a group of Xterras...but it was fun. We would also most likely need to limit the number of trucks, but we should have plenty of room for riders so all who want to can come.

No one in Brooklyn would care but me, they?d just think I was another fag from Oneonta.

This sounds great Scott! Thanks for all the hard work getting this run together; I am now really looking forward to it! :D

I'll have open seats as well.
My only rule will be that, if you're cute and wear a bra, you will get first choice of which seat (including the driver's lap) you want..

Anyone who has a natural born kick stand will be second in line - with the option to sit on the driver's lap being off the table automatically.

I talked to Rob just a few minutes ago and we are all set for the 20th. I will post more details soon, but the wheeling will be good.
