If I cannot get a new leaf spring by next Wednesday I most likely won't be attending ECXC.
I am extremely pissed at myself.

Ask if anyone can bring a portable welder, or we can make one from a series of batteries and weld it up there.
Temporary fix, but it may get you through the weekend. Welding spring steel is tricky because it is tempered, but it could get you through.

I should have it by Monday. I need to call tomorrow to find out the details. They said no later then Wednesday. Pushing it, but hey. I will just have to show up on Friday or Saturday.

Isn?t there a local spring shop near you? You should check. It should be easy for them to match up a spring and slap it on and I?ll bet it would cost less than the ?Nissan Part? even if you?re not a ?regular? customer.

Well I have decided if I don't get a leaf spring by Thursday I am coming out Thursday night and leave Saturday morning. I just need someone to ride with. Tom?
