Ideas for ECXC

I remember a post on here about tryin to draw more attention to this event. How about having a couple of friendly recreational competitions. Like axle changing competition, or alternator etc. we can supply the same set of tools and time em. Maybe take one of the raffle prizes away and give it to the winner of this as an incentive ya?

Awesome idea Justin, it can even double as a learning experience for people some spectating just like you would show a group safe recovery basics.

Gonna re-second my idea for the Human Winch:

Two-man teams are given x amount of time to build their own capstan from what they can find and what they have on board. Place trucks 100 feet away facing whichever direction is most convenient, first team to get their truck to touch the capstan OR most distance traveled in x minutes wins. Failure of the capstan or rope/strap is a disqualification.

axle changing is good idea for round 1,
Round 2 idea- try lower control arm swap...got to love those ! :bang:

I like the taking out and replacing an alternator, as its not as long a time as some others, and, its something they should all know how to do.

The other one could be removing a rear sway bar, or some other commonly needed mod.

It could be boring to watch though.

How about we just head over to the range and shoot stuff?
