Ok it was a topic on the ECXC forums and I thought it would be good to post it here as well.

It was brought up that there shouldn't be any groups runs this year. The original way is that Mike picks the groups by the modifications that you have done to your truck. and you go out with different people from different clubs. It was meant to be this way so people could mingle and it also shuffled people who aren't in a club.

Now for that last couple of years a few clubs have just kinda requested club days and run the trails that way. We being one of the guilty parties.

But with it being mentioned in the thread on ECXC we all kinda decided that it would be best to stick with tradition this year and run in the pointed groups that Mike gives everyone.

I hope everyone can live with this decision. Cause I don't want to be the asshole club that can't follow something simple..

Any questions or comments please post it and I'll answer them. Or if you feel you want to do it privately then you can either PM me or send me an e-mail RIXterra@NEXterra.org or give me a damn phone call.. ;)

No worries; chances are the people that you get put with you've wheeled with before. My truck is pretty similarly modified to a lot of people here.

Gene, we going to see your black X there? 8)

Bobby, more than likely not. With having no job I'll be lucky if I can even make it down. Which I'll more than likely be there cause I saved for the trip since last year.. ;)

Plus it all depends home my surgery plays out.;)

:x Well that?s BS and should never happen. That really pisses me off, who was your trail leader? If that ever happens you must let someone in charge (Mike) know or just mention it to me and I?ll make sure that crap gets straightened out.

I'm sorry, but why does he care? People are there to have fun. Has anyone been left out? Besides, you could end up like Tiffany and get left behind. I'm all for meeting new people, that's part of the fun. I'm also not enthused for spending a day with a bunch of aholes. Get enough of that at work.

 Damn Scott someone must have fucked with you good at work today. I can?t believe that is you posting.
That shit sounds more like something I would say.

The whole idea of ECXC is that it is not an ordinary run with friends. It is a run for Xterra enthusiasts to show noobs what a great activity wheeling is. The MF?er that left Tiffany flat was not doing what a trail leader is supposed to do; make sure everyone in your group is safe and has a good time (this is why I dislike leading). I only volunteer at ECXC.

You know how I feel about wheeling, it?s all about me and my good time. I?m the most self centered MF?er out on the trails...
... except for ECXC where I broke my cherry and have been trying to get pay back ever since.

Please re-think this bro.

I guess I'm sick of the control. I have always offered to help out in anyway I can, and continue to do so. What ever is needed, I will do, but I don't understand why the people who want to get together and wheel with whom they would like can't do so.

If I want to wheel with the Nexterra group on a certain day and I'm needed to trail lead, I will do what I am asked to do, and you know how much I like to lead. But if people want to get together for a day and ride together, why not?

It's a Republican thing I tell you...a bunch of Dicks who want to tell you where you can put yours.

Don't blame Mike or any of the ECXC powers that be, it was my idea;
http://www.ecxc.com/bbs/index.php?topic=456.0

Not my way of telling people what to do or not do but trying to get new people to feel more comfortable and to keep clubs like ours from being too clickly.
I put it up there as an idea for discussion not as policy. It was not approved or even commented on by Mike.
It?s not a bunch of dicks...
...just me.
