Thanks to my fellow teammates in the challenge; Mike Gene and Derrick for carrying me through the event to our shared glorious victory. Thanks Dave from Bandit4X4 and Andy for taking care of me all weekend. Thanks to Kyle and Mike (the Honey Comb Kids) for their good sprits and comic relief. Thanks Mike, Will, Mehdi, Brad, Dana and anyone else the helped put this together. You guys are the greatest. Once again I had an unbelievably great time. Thanks to all of you, new friends and old, that came and helped make this past weekend into what I believe is the best wheeling event year after year. Please lets all do it again next year!

to give you a HUGE hug!!! Chris says congrats and hope we see you soon!

I echo Tom's sentiments.
It was a good week all the way around and getting out with a good crew makes all the difference.

Definitely a great time even though my truck sat in my driveway. :(
Great to finally put faces to the screennames and trucks. :D
Everyone was awesome and great to hang out and drink with. :D
Next year I hope my truck makes it there under it's own power. :)
Thanks again to Andy and Kyle for leading and spotting our group. It was great to ride with you guys. No breakages and no recoveries needed. :D

Had a great time and the list of mods to be done for next year may be large now, but at least I got a year to do them.

Good times, Good people, Awesome Wheeling

Nice seeing everyone again and meeting the folks I didn't know before.

Congrats on the win in the competition and thanks to my team for hammering out a 2nd place finish.

Just think, next year you won't have to drive as far and will have so many more trucks caravaning with you.

Event Recap: 2008 East Coast Xterra Challenge
The 8th annual East Coast Xterra Challenge held July 17-20 at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park in central PA was a big success- 56 trucks. ECXC was sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Xterra Club, and drivers came from as far north as Toronto and as far south as Del-Ray beach FL. Tom Kurahara and Michael Stevens, both 1st gen owners, won the winch challenge. More: ecxc.com.
