I'm not going this year. Just to hard with work and the kids. I'm gonna miss it though.

Current status of the X.

Not selling, but removing lift and I have sold bumper, skids, and sliders.

Don't write me off so quick! I appreciate the compliment and enjoy hitting the trails with you.

The story: The Mrs. needs a minivan. My other vehicle is only 4 years old and will be paid off in the next 4 months. The X I still owe a bunch. So we might just trade the X in for a minivan. I love the X, but I refuse to do 2 car payments at the same time again. No decision has been made to trade in the X yet, but I want to be in a position to unload it ASAP. We are looking for a used 2005+ Honda Odyssey. The opportunity came up to sell all my armor to 1 person. So I am going to do that.

However, because I am loosing the X means I can purchase a beater. It might mean that I have to ride a long with someone in the next few months until I save up for a vehicle. Not sure what, but I plan on taking my time until the right rig comes around. I want it to be street legal and drivable to and from the trail. One thing is for sure it won't be a Manual unless it has granny gears!

I don't want to get out of wheelin' I enjoy it and the people way too much. I might not have an X, but I still plan on getting out there. Plus in the next few years I will be able to bring my sons. I cannot think of a better group of people to have around my kids. Everyone in the Xterra community and NOIRA has been great.

I ain't going anywhere!

That would be great but I have yet to see it happen. Once the truck is gone folks try to hang but their interests change to more sensible pastimes and soon their gone.

I hear you.

The last 6 months have been challenging with the decline in business to pretty much closing up shop. Hopefully my new job will give me the kick in the ass I need to get motivated again. Plus it will also give me the income I have been lacking for the past 6 months.

It's kinda sad. :( Many of the standby people are leaving, buying new vehicles and moving on. I feel due to the Bush family making more money, the Xterra realm is beginning to shrink.
