Hello everyone , so after the Halloween run, it was recommended to a get a rear diff breather any suggestions?

I see one from:
PRG
ARB
Home made ones with aquarium tubing.

Thoughts? I'm leaning towards the arb?

Thanks
Mike

This is a very recommended upgrade - do it!

I used the Nissan barb fitting, 10 ft of fuel resistant Tygon tubing from McMaster-Carr and a fish tank filter stone.

I used fuel hose from the autoparts store to extend my breathers & just loop the end so it's facing back downwards (front diff into the engine bay & rear behind the tail light). Not ideal, but if water is over my hood or past my brake lights, I figure I have bigger issues.

However you do it, it's definitely good insurance.

I pried the cap off my axle and just ran the tube from there - bought way too much so I have a significant coil of it tucked into my bumper corner before going into the tail light. I do have a Titan barb sitting in my freezer somewhere...

I also just pried the cap off and looped it back down in the tailight

Mike,

They are both vented high in the engine compartment. Both are essentially stationary to the frame and Nissan ran them for us. The sprung rear diff. / axle I guess was too risky for them when only 1 in a 1000 was actually going to be wheeled? Your guess is as good as mine.
