Playing hookie today to do the diff
So far so good draining now - not one of the lucky schrock guys so doing the whole deal

I still can't understand the design of the brake lines on top - seems stupid
Why didn't anyone tell me this stuff smells like ass lol

Stay tuned for final picture once complete

Omg !!! Wtf I can't seem to get the cover off past the steel brake line wtf why would the run this like this, can anybody offer a suggestion can I remove the brake line ? Arggg

Ha you damn bastard got it the steel brake line assembly not the one a top can be taken off to allow a little more play not much but enough - back on track

Ok cover off, old gasket scraped off with plastic putty knife ( pita) now the crucial bead of rtv - then wait 20....

Sulfur Phosphorous extreme pressure (EP) additives do smell a bit but my well worn dirty socks smell a lot worse. :D

Is that wait time standard? If so, I'm been doing it wrong.

I just wait a couple of mins, just long enough to get the gear oil cans lined up before filling it.

It would of made it easier, now being a noob mike what the rear sway bar do? I know a lot of guys remove them ?

It allows for more articulation from the rear axle.
