Hi Guy's, I think I need to replace the bushings in my Calmini Idler Arm. Can anyone post a source for the required parts to do this? Also, if you've done this before, do you need a press to replace them? Thanks!!!

...cant you just order the parts from Calmini?

If its anything like the SLR ones or bronze OEM replacment ones a press would help but it can be done with a patience and a screw driver to get it out or a drift pin to get the old ones out.

A press would definitely help to get them in but you can also do it with a vice or patience with a socket and hammer.

I believe Dave C. (Bandit 4x4) makes replacements. Someone else back me up here.

IIRC the bushings from Dave (Bandit4x4) only work in stock replacement or the SLR idler arms. I'm running his bushings in my stock steering right now.

I think Ken (O1SalsaX) knows for sure.

That would be cool, thanks.

I looked all over Calmini's site and nothing for parts. I guess I could call or email them to see though.

calmini won't ship replacement parts to you unless you can prove you bought the item directly from them (i.e. if you bought your calmini steering second-hand, you're SOL like me)...and even then, you probably wont get it

www.bandit4x4.com

he sells them as 'HD steering' bushings
