Post subject:  New Torque wrench

Just found this item # 944599000. Here is the description from the page...
Convert your ratchet wrench into an electronic hand torque wrench. The model 44599 torque measurement system is easy to use and displays both applied and peak torque readings in LB, FT and NMs. The system accuracy is +/-3% with a resolution of 0.1 units, as displayed on the large LCD digital display of the portable meter. The 1/2 in. square drive torque sensor will accommodate all standard wrenches and sockets.

Hand torque wrench calibration system
Fastener assembly and verification for automotive, motorcycles, aircraft, small engines

Thinking this is my next tool since it does 0.1 increments and 1/2 socket which is perfect for the front's bearing race reinstall. This also seems to be a very good tool to use to insure your torque wrenches are within spec since you can put a 3/8 or 1/2 sockets attached to the true torque wrench to test.

Sorry but this is the only web address I can find for a picture which doesn't seem to work.

Pretty cool, but for that price, you could buy two torque wrenches...
