Another trail in danger of closure - Black Bear Pass, CO. It's on my bucket list to do... did run a few trails out in the Rockies in CO many years ago, way before my wheeling days & luckily I had enough sense not to even try the Black Bear Pass at that time. LOL Crazy = Yes ...  Stupid = NO...  Jeep is now using the trail in their ads saying get a jeep equipped to handle Black bear pass....ect... ect.. what is left of a "Rental Jeep" that slid off the trail and fell 900 ft. and killed a couple from Minn.  Found 20 pictures of vehicles destroyed from falling of the trail either on the switch backs or on the steps. unfortunately it has had so much use the trail has worn away and made it very dangerous. plus every tom dick and harry think they can run a trail that only the most experienced should run. = bad news and then closure for it.
