Mass is now including jeeps and off road vehicles into the ORV laws.

Anyone wanting to get a Sticker here are your options to get one.
they can be purchased at any mass. dcr office.

Anyone looking for a mass ORV sticker will need.
Option 1. Registered vehicles....
In mass $40.00 for 2 years ,Needed ... Reg & proof of ma. taxes paid.
Out of state...$30.00 for 1 year, Reg & proof of taxes paid to your state.

Option 2. Unregistered vehicles....
$40.00 for in state vehicles for 2 years
$30.00 for out of state vehicles for 1 year.
Needed....
Bill of Sale ,vehicle Vin. #
and the bad part... taxes will need to be paid to ma.
based on the value of vehicle on the bill of sale @ 6.25%.

So it's $62.50 per $1000.00 of vehicle value on top of the sticker fee.

Hope this helps
Any questions let me know

Ernie

Where does the sticker get you into? I've been looking into over sand permits at the cape, but there is only a total of 32 miles IF the friggin plovers aren't nesting. (plus 4 hours in traffic)

Basicly nowhere special that can't already be traveled now.
no new lands are added do to the sticker.
the stickers and law were meant for ATVs and Snowmobiles use.
but the law reads any off road vehicle used for recreational purposes in Mass.
including jeep and 4wd type vehicles :(
This includes the use of any private lands other than the land owners.

The NH. ORV stickers allow access to hundreds of miles of trails.

Legislation is in the progress of removing the jeep and 4wd vehicles from the law.
but in will take a while for this to happen.

The NH OHRV Web Site says highway vehicles are not allowed on OHRV trails nor do they need a sticker. Am I missing something that will allow me to go awesome places when I go home in two weeks?

All Class 6 roads are open to the public with registered and ins. vehicles
and will be some great wheeling for you.
There are maps that show all the trails/roads avail. for each town.
google class 6 roads in your town.

NH OHRV stickers are for more extreme trails and are mostly for unregistered buggie type vehiicles.

Vid of a class 6 road in NH.
