I signed it, but I don't see it happening. If you saw the hassles that NYSSA has gone through to get trails through state land and through the Adirondack Park, it's a long, arduous process with tons of lawsuits from the greenie groups. Also, snowmobiles do little damage to the land and are in use when few people are out on the trails. Tread Lightly is at term used a lot, but let's face it, you can't offroad a truck without tearing up the land and that makes the greenies sick. Sorry to be a pessimist...It's a great idea, but I don't see it happening. |
