I posted this over on thenewx. But thought I would post it here.

I'm thinking about getting a lift. Not sure which one to go with though.

I'm looking at these two calmini ones:

Link 2

There are these as well:
Link 3
Link 4

I'm not sure which one to go with and what else I would need to make this work.

I posted my comments on next gen.

But either way get the brake extension kit. You will have the brake lines off for the axle swap.

It all depends on your budget. Space lift won't require having a shop install the the coils on the front shocks.

I know for father's day I asked for the AC coils and shackles. Then I could do the AAL in the future.

I'd go with the coils and the add a leafs. The stock leaves are pretty weak anyway.

The AC kit looks pretty complete, with the exception of the ABS line extensions.

If you can, you should get extended stainless brake lines when we do the axles. It would save a step in the future,

In order to extend the ABS line extension I think you just need to remove a click that limits its movement.

BTW: You need a 3 degree shim with the AAL and the OR axle to avoid a driveline vibration.

Some people are running the AAL and the shackles in the rear.

Keep in mind that PRG will be releasing a new deaver leaf spring set in a few weeks.

I totally agree that it is expensive. Right now there is just no need for coil over's or UCA's.

Just throwing out there as an option.

Jeff

I'd go with the Coils and not the spacers. I of course didn't think I was going to add a Bumper and winch to the front when I ordered the lift so the spacer was cool. Now with the added weight my front end dropped ( Thinking that the stock springs just don't like the extra weight).

I'm trying to figure out how to get the front end back up but I'm kinda stuck as to what to do other than taking out the spacers and buying the coils.

Let me know what you go with

Later

I'm thinking about the AAL from Calmini. 2.5"-3" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. And it doesn't require new shocks.

It comes with spacers.

I'm now thinking about not doing it. Money is getting a little tight from the new house and we got a wedding coming up next month.
